*note: home teams in semi final round dependent upon record of team in games played throughout the entire tournament.

NOTES OF INTEREST:
- the Marlies' Peewee Championship is the organization's first in Big Nickel history - up until this year, the Marlies' hadn't reached the Big Nickel Final in any division
- the Peewee Championship was an apt match-up - in round robin action, these two teams met with the Marlies' winning 1-0 - the Marlies' did not allow any goals during the round robin portion of the tournament, while the only goal that Brant 99'ers allowed was the one they allowed against the Marlies
- allowing 0 goals against was not limited to the Peewee division - the Islanders' tandem of Cescon and George also did not allow a single goal in the round robin portion of the event - a first in Big Nickel history that this has happened twice in one year
- event organizers are considering a limit to overtime periods for next year - Kirkland Lake Legion and Cleveland Barons played 97 minutes and 34 seconds of scoreless hockey before Tommy Goebel of the Barons' decided the issue - organizers are pondering whether to put a limit on the overtime (in quarters and semis only) given the "fatigue" factor for the next playoff round
- just like the Marlies in Peewee, the Missisauga Senators recorded their first ever Big Nickel championship in defeating the Cleveland Barons in the Midet Final
